Do you suffer from chronic sinusitis symptoms such as facial pain or pressure, recurrent sinus infections, or headaches? Sinusitis affects approximately 37 million people each year in the United States - that is more than heart disease and asthma!
A new minimally-invasive procedure is now available called Balloon Sinuplasty™. To-date over 80,000 patients and over 264,000 sinuses have been dilated with this new innovative technology. Many patients return to normal activity within 24 to 48 hours after having the procedure.
How does it work? Balloon Sinuplasty™ devices are flexible instruments that allow the surgeon to restore normal drainage and function while preserving your natural anatomy. During the outpatient visit, a small, flexible balloon is placed through the nostril into the blocked sinus passageway. The balloon is then inflated to gently restructure and open the sinus passageway, restoring normal sinus drainage and functioning.
